Implants can help to restore a more youthful appearance and define facial features. Prominent cheek bones and a strong chin can dramatically enhance a person’s face through small or no visible incisions. Implants are designed for use in the cheeks and chin in variable sizes and shapes to best suit each patient. The silastic implants have been used for several years and are safe and effective. During your consultation Dr Rachel will discuss your goals and fit you with several implant options to give you optimal facial balance. Implant surgery can be performed under local anesthesia or twilight sedation. Insertion of the implants can be done as a standalone procedure or combined with other facial surgeries, such as, rhinoplasty (nasal surgery) or at the same time as a facelift surgery to enhance your overall results.
