Soft tissue fillers are flexible substances that can be injected into the skin to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, plump lips, fill hollow cheeks, repair various facial imperfections, improve scars and elevate deep folds. The result is a smoother, more youthful appearance with minimal “downtime” and maximum safety. A filler substance is injected beneath the surface of the skin where it corrects the line or wrinkle by temporarily plumping and smoothing out the skin depression. Most fillers replace the host components of the skin: collagen, hyaluronic acid, and elastin. Some fillers also can stimulate production of collagen.
If you’re looking at improving the appearance of your skin, Restylane may be the option for you. Restylane is a dermal filler consisting of hyaluronic acid which naturally exists in the body, that aids in correcting facial wrinkles. Widely used around the world, Restylane yields long-lasting results, normally up to six months. We use an extremely fine needle to inject small amounts of the filler into the skin, which aids in patient comfort throughout the procedure. The results are almost immediate! Free of animal proteins, Restylane is a safe and easy way to bring back your skin’s healthy and beautiful appearance.
Restylane is now also used in lip augmentation to create fuller lips and a more defined mouth and in facial contouring to give your face a fuller look.
As a natural dermal filler, Restylane requires no skin testing prior to treatment. And since the results are not permanent, this treatment allows you, the patient, to take control of your appearance.
